I bought a bunch of old hammers at The Habitat for Humanity Restore. I forged them into "hammer-axes" - handy for camping.
I took my first blacksmithing classes at The Crucible in Oakland. This is their amazing blacksmith shop.
I took a blacksmithing class from Nick Marcelja, the season 4 "Forged in Fire" Champion and blacksmith of Red Troll Forge. He taught me to make a historic axe.
